This set has a quiet understated elegence about it that will never go out of style. Sometimes you walk in someone's dinning room and you can just about guess the year - or atleast decade - they bought their china. I liked this set so much that I bought two. I know it's a little over kill but.. I have one on display in the china cabinet and the other stored in the buffet table. This way I don't have to take the china off display to have a Thanksgiving meal. Very happy with the style and quality of this china.
And it's dishwasher safe!

I have this set and it looks gorgeous. I get compliments on it. It looks very luxurious because of the silver lining. But it doesn't have to be used on special occasions only. It is porcelain and a very good quality. I got it a couple of weeks ago. So far it hasn't chipped or scratched. Notice that you should NOT put it in a microwave or a dish washer. You can't get a better set for 8 people at this price. (I should know, I searched for weeks before ordering this one.) I am extremely happy to have it!
